FORTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF MALDIVES AND JAPAN

A cultural show organjapculshow-11.jpgized as part of the celebrations to mark 40 years of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Japan was held at Olympus Theater on 8 November 2007.

The show was organized by the Honorary Consulate-General of the Maldives in Japan in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives. A dance troupe of the National Centre of the Arts of the Maldives also took part in the show, in addition to the Japanese music and dance troupe.

.International travel for the Japanese music and dance troupe was sponsored very generously by the Sri Lankan Airlines.
