Special Envoy of the President visits Japan

zaki1.jpg8 March 2010, Tokyo: The Special Envoy of the President, H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, arrived in Tokyo this afternoon on a five day official visit.

During his visit Mr. Zaki will meet with senior offfials of the Japanese Government and hold bilateral discussions. He would also meet with key Parliament Members and members of the private secotor during the visit.

Mr. Zaki is accompanied by Mr. Aslam Mohamed Shakir, Policy Secretary at the Office of the President. Mr. Zaki, who is also the Acting President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP),  will stay in Japan as an official guest of the Japanese Government.
